The GAS is there - but the WATER too

("A typical geothermal well might have a depth between 1000 and 2100 m")

There is no need to drill deeper if the water can be lifted from shallower formations.

Most wells around the Town of MAKO are deeper than 2100 m anyway, you know where the following excerpt is coming from,do you?:

MAKO, Hungary, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Lajos Barath last year took an ancient route to energy for his hospital. Switching the heating and hot water entirely to geothermal energy, he was building on a Roman discovery continued by the Turks.

Besides saving energy costs, the two wells 2,150 metres (7,000 feet) deep from which hot water is pumped proved a good investment last month, when Russia cut off gas supplies through Ukraine in freezing midwinter..................

......I just wonder if there is more Gas or more Water down there ?

THERMAL-WATER could be lifted from 1000 to 2500 Meter-XOM`s demonstration at the "earth well" delivered the convincing proof of water even in the deeper formations down to nearly 4000 M.

Experts at the conference in iceland pointed out, that drilling for thermal water could be dangerous in terms of appearing "GAS and H2S" (LOL).

The inversion of my argument means, that drilling for NG could be dangerous in terms of H2S and appearing water aquifers........

Looks like this fact was either ignored or underestimated.

The simultaneous occurrence of an Aquifer and a BCGA was not factored in,caused enormous damage and unexpected complications, triggering controversial reactions.

At the worst it could cost us all a lot of money going down the drain if XOM walks next month.

I wonder what happens on Friday February 26 th-the last trading day of the month?

Jumping ship on friday could come back to roost if EXXON decides to announce the news on the weekend and thinking of the first trading day in March could give me the creeps !
