Hungary steps forward in the ranking of the world's best places to live

France was the best place to live in last year, with Australia and Switzerland on its tail, according to the 2010 Quality of Life Index compiled annually by International Living Magazine. Hungary came in 20th, a great improvement from the previous ranking, scoring fairly high points in terms of political freedom and safety, and also doing better, albeit still rather poorly, on economic points.
