I disagree - you could talk with people afterwards. If you don't want to go, don't go but I can't imagine being in the same town and not stopping by on the chance you get to talk and listen to a company you have placed your hard earned money with and are upside down in. And maybe share a tidbit or two with others who can't make it. It's not like you have to pay for a plane ticket, fly half way around the world, go through immigration and pay for a hotel room for a couple of nights before repeating the process in reverse. It's days for others and what - an hour or two for you? You can also talk to other investors who were there for the whole thing. Your call.
