Oldtimers and petroleum geologists :)
Anyone doing DD on the Mako needs to know about the Hod-1. Logs, core samples, etc aren't available for Falcons wells, but they are for the Hod-1. Considering how many of Falcons documents contain references to the Hod-1, it's very important that they show it on their maps, which they always have. The Scotia group even used a lot of the data from the old Hod-1 when they did their report.
"There are no actual pressure measurements available for the Client’s wells, so a
published profile for the Hod-1 well by A. Szalay (Maturation and Migration of Hydrocarbons in the Southeastern Pannonian Basin, Figure 7) was used."
"The top of overpressure in the Hod-1 thus extrapolates to about 2,800 m (9,200 feet)."
"Available temperature data was based on logging run data collected from the Hod-1 well and the first three Makó wells."
"Gas analyses from three lab reports from the Hod-1 well are summarized opposite."
"In addition, there appears to be H2S reported in two of the Hod- 1 samples, while none is noted in the Makó-6 well samples. The depth of the well Hod-1 samples and their origin (how they were collected) is not known."
"Since there is no particular pattern to the CO2 content and the Makó-6 well results
are in conflict with those from the Hod-1 well"
"To check porosity values, the Makó-6 and Hod-1 well logs were independently interpreted."
"For this reason, the evaluation on the Hod-1 well was reviewed first since there were many cores taken"
etc etc etc
