Back from a 10 hours ride to and back, passing the Algyo processing plant early in the morning between Szeged and Hodmezovasarhely, I arrived at about 08.30 A.M. on the site of Földeak 1.

First thing I realized was the missing of the frac tower and the platform and the empty parking area. The only remaining car belonged to the quard in the box at the entrance.

On monday last week the site was in full action and everybody was speculating why.

Now we know,They cleaned out the well and got ready to plug and abandon it.

There was no fence around the site any more,so I could even walk into the area and take pictures from the wellhead (what is left).....

The wellhead and all the connections were dismantled and repacked for evacuation.

On top of the well we can see an old wellcap, maybe the MOL staff has been instructed to install from their own storage. The wellcap is of the same type and make as HOD 1.

Alle the typical red connections ,caps, gate valves, mud and chock valves were wraped up and boxed. There were no signs of pressure.

Hard to tell why Falcon wells were left on pressure with the complete christmas tree on site, contrary to XOM leaving the wells without the tree and no pressure,as seen on HOD and MIND .

After all ,I snaped the chance being so close to the remaining Schlumberger equipment and took some more pictures on the site.

The frac-truck (Schlumberger) was having a German licence plate.

The pipes in the offshore container looked like choke pipes to me.

As you know my connection from Szeged gave me a message on wednesday, that the trucks did not continue to unload mud or fluids. On account of this message I assumed the mission accomplished on the site.Today being sunday I guess the remaining employees had their day off and will go on tomorrow, evacuating the rest of the equipment and by end of the coming week the site will be cleared completely.

In the light of our last week`s experience (XOM Q 3 pres.) the information,"the testing is going on".......was untrue and the guy did not really know, what he was talking about, because fracing and testing was finished löng before Thursday and the activities seen last monday were just to finish the well and plug it.

On my way back I passed the Sunday market in MAKO and provided myself with all kind of cheap vegetables, last not least the original Hungarian Salami.

BTW : 30 kg potatoes are available for 1100 Forint (about 4 €) 13 cents per kilo......

All in all it does not look so good,as XOM is away now (from the site)

The game is over and the numbers should be around soon.

However they look like, lets hope that XOM will stay.

Remember, when XOM decided to step in,they based their decision on Falcon numbers .

That means to me,the numbers were good (for XOM to step in) but the technology we were waiting for to be coming from XOM was not at all innovating, but dissapointing.

As far as it seems XOM could not top the (poor) numbers Falcon achieved. So the blame is not to put on Falcon, but on XOM.

The Gas is down there-if XOM could not lift the Gas who else should do it?

Waiting for your comments,

(I hope Lan is available today for posting the pictures)
