HUF 5.4 billion gas pipeline project on agenda

Construction of a HUF 5.4 billion gas pipeline between the Adriatic Seas and Hungary will be on the agenda at a joint cabinet meeting between Hungary and Croatia in Barcs on Thursday, government spokesman Domokos Szollár said on Tuesday.

Other issues to be discussed include cross-border cooperation in the areas of energy supply, infrastructure development and transport.

A total of 12 documents are due to be signed at the joint meeting.

Szollár highlighted the plan to develop the Budapest-Osijek-Sarajevo transport corridor with EU support.

The agenda of the meeting will also include issues related to education, culture and scientific research including the Hungarian Week scheduled for October in Zagreb. (MTI-Econews)
