John S. Herold Inc. and Harrison Lovegrove & Company for the 42nd time had put together the top list of oil companies’ performance in exploration-production (upstream). Among more than 230 oil-and gas industry corporations analysed in the study MOL got the first place in Europe and the 38th place in the World considered the result regarding one barrel’s equivalent value. MOL got to the top of the list in 2003 at the first time, since that time it has attained the title of the most effective European corporation several times.

The function of the study was to measure most important performance-indicators of the actors of industry; to denominate the most important factors and trends, which have effects on the total performance of the industry. The competent study analyses the performance of the different corporations according to regions, thus it gives a whole picture about the capital investment, performance and achievements of the oil- and gas industry corporations regarding to the analysed companies.

Among the achievements of the oil- and gas industry corporations MOL got the first place in Europe and the 38th place in the World considered the result regarding one barrel’s equivalent value.
