Developing large acreage positions of unconventional and conventional oil and gas resources
"Maybe some of you appreciate it already. Maybe some of you don't. Biggest talk in the industry right now are unconventional plays, particularly those located in Europe and particularly those in Hungary,Slovakia,Slovenia,Romania and Crotia and surrounding areas. In fact there can be little doubt that when the data room is reopened Merrills and BMO will have their hands full very quickly, such will be the level of interest in the project."
Those who have read Dr. Szabó’s article surly can appreciate the importance of this unconventional play in Hungary, and in the surrounding area, that is also known as the Pannonian Basin.
"In the meantime, the company will be searching for other potential oil and gas reservoirs in Hungary and also, as DrSzabó explains, “we shall be focusing on exploration of the Pannonian (Carpathian) Basin, a topographically discrete region of central Europe encompassing parts of several other countries, including Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia, where we have obtained encouraging signs of more deposits of fossil fuels.”
