Petrohunter gets new CEO

Charles B. Crowell resigned as a director and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the registrant effective as of the close of business on May 8, 2009.

Martin B. Oring, who had been elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the annual meeting of directors on April 20, 2009, was elected to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer effective May 9, 2009.
