As MOL's rejection of the Austrian OMV's hostile bid attesting to that.

According to Zsolt Hernadi, MOL has its own long-term plan for the company.

Nah..... Their aversion "in general" has more to do with preserving their jobs, salaries, bonuses and good life, rather that the well being of their shareholders and their company. These guys are like dinosaurs, one day they will be extinct and Hungary will be better off then. Just what effort did they make to develope the unconventional gas resources in Hungary before FO made noises about its gas findings. It took a foreign company to come in and get the work started, and with their own data, which they sold because they had no use for it. You missed the point in regard to the anti-russian sentiment in Hungarians. Surgut has no intention of taking MOL over, but Hungarians at all levels (Gov, MOL, you?) are running scared that they may want to. They then build addional walls to prevent the fictitious take-over.
