I'm going to take a guess so take what I say at your own risk. I could be way out to lunch on this, but......

Look at image 3. The depth is 5052.5m to 5053.4m (Lower Endrod). Notice that on the right, there is a scale from 0 to 100% for the lithology. Sand is shown in yellow. Sand is good! The sand graph is almost 100%.

Looking back at the Scotia report:

At the base of this sequence at 5,055 m, a strong gas show was encountered and at 5,068 m loss of mud into the formation was noted. These are indications of permeability.
