Question concerning PE ratios

posted on Apr 09, 2009 06:24AM

I'm trying to figure out (with little success) what a reasonable PE ratio would be for a company such as Falcon Oil once they begin to actually make money. I am convinced that this company will definitely be highly profitable at some point in the future. I am concerned about the huge (over 500,000,000) shares outstanding in this company. A 10 to one ratio may or not be reasonable depending on the other companies in this category. I fully realize that you guys are most often discussing highly technical stuff about production issues but I don't think that a little bit of speculation would hurt even at this early stage in exploration.

Thanks from a newbie on this board,

Doc
