Announcements by Hungary's MOL about changes in its ownership structure are becoming a daily habit now. The company has reported receiving a notification from its Austrian rival OMV yesterday that it carried out yet another transaction with MOL shares.

The deal is no surprise. OMV has simply taken back some of MOL shares (7 million) it has been parking at Hypo Bank. MOL's ownership structure is as follows, but the balance of power has not changed.
