Developing large acreage positions of unconventional and conventional oil and gas resources

Contract Drilling/Site Supervisor – Hungary
12 months (possible extension)
Salary – Negotiable (Depending on experience)
Our client is a global energy company that is focused on acquiring, exploring and developing large acreage positions of unconventional and conventional oil and gas resources in politically and economically stable countries that are characterised by a high regional demand for energy, an an existing infrastructure that permits rapid delivery of oil and gas to market.
Principle tasks and duties
•Monitor plans, programs and work progress.
•Ensure equipment and materials meet quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
•Co-ordinate activities on the drilling unit in conjunction with the Senior Drilling Supervisor.
•Ensure an adequate inventory of equipment and materials is maintained on the drilling unit to carry out the work.
•Prepare well site plans such as casing running lists and cement calculations and co-supervise jobs.
•Co-supervise non-routine operations such as fishing and well control.
•Complete all routine drilling and cost control reports required by the operator and the regulatory bodies and review with the SDS before submission to the operations office on a daily basis.
•Be the communication between Company Man and the rig crew.
Job requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of oil and gas experience preferably with an operating company. Also required:
•Must be able to understand and communicate with Czech Rig Crew.
•Minimum of 2 years onshore well site drilling experience with high standard of down-hole competency, HP/HT experience, exposure to completions and work-overs.
•Industry training in drilling technology and HSE.
•Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
•Good data management and computer literacy.
•To work 21/21 day rotation.
