I figure that we owe Soly a lot of Thank You's. Everyone in this and other boards have benefited from his translations. At a conservative U$0.25 to U$0.50 and a guesstimate (yes! guesstimates are as good as facts) that he has translated some 30,000 words in the last 12 months, he has given us between $7500 and $15,000 of his time. Only Lanman surpasses that because technical guys are pretty expensive. Say we paid Lanman U$500 an hour to produce the research he does for us, I guestimate (yes!!) that he has put some 100 hours in the last year and that means he has given us $50,000 of his time. Bashers in other boards take our time, Soly and Lanman give us their time, information, research and news. Instos in other boards tickle themselves to vivid pink colours (well...according to B2B anyway....may be hearsay...) and the information they provide has never come close to what our Soly and our Lanman do for us.
