FYI, according to the latest data from the Mining Bureau (Dated Feb 5), June 15th is not the expiration date of the drilling permit, it is the expiration date of the Exploration Permit for the donut hole. MOL and Exxon must be in a real hurry to gather all the data they require to finalize their mining plot applications. This would explain why they would want to test the Endrod and Algyo as well.

The exploration permit for Area 106 (the biggest block to the west, where they are drilling now) expires on Aug 30, 2009.
