Budapest, January 26 (MTI) - Hungary plans to seek compensation for the disruption of gas supplies during the Russian-Ukrainian gas dispute, Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany said on Monday.

Gyurcsany said that states which suffered outages during the dispute should make a joint claim against parties which broke supply contracts.

"It is time to raise the question of who will pay damages," Gyurcsany said.

He said that the gas dispute had become a European problem, so the EU should represent the joint claim for compensation.
