A fantastic example of how our team can 'get things done' is a new site called Sheiba 18 in our Western Desert concession. We had given the Petroleum Ministry our word that it would be online by October 2004 so we put in place a special team. It was drilled and an early production facility was up and running in less than a year.

"All the material used was recycled from existing equipment, which minimised costs but more importantly it was achieved with no lost time injuries [LTIs].

"Currently the oil from this field is being trucked 130 kilometres to our Badr El-Din production facility but we are looking at the feasibility of putting in a dedicated pipeline," he says.

...we believe that lanman posted our jv name...but it appears that if shell can do this and exxon is their superior then if things go well with flows and such...then anything is possible...btw...appears having pipelines in place may have been a stroke of genius...maybe not...but maybe just maybe...gofo and g'day
