I talked with an analyst last fall and his opinion was we would likely get the updates from Exxon or Exxon would let FO know what they can say. His Thoughts were that Exxon has mentioned this to their shareholders so they would provide updates. He also said there are scouts around the area and info would likely leak out so Exxon would want to provide updates so that shareholders would know as well. Not sure if FO can say much without Exxon approval and doubt any of the respected BOD would want to tarnish their reputation with Exxon.
