I wonder though how much of a market is available for this resource in Australia?
Actually, there is a huge market in Asia. Consider Japan, China, India, Korea. They all import huge amount of energy in the form of oil and liquified gas.
The Beetaloo Basin is about 500 kilometers from the port city of Darwin, from where the LNG can be shipped to the Asian markets.
