Developing large acreage positions of unconventional and conventional oil and gas resources
..."Interpretation of these data is in progress...making use of new 3D seismic data covering >1100 km2...These data revealed the regional stratigraphic and tectonic features of the trough and provided insights to the details of the basinal and basement structures...The well and core data revealed complementary information on the present-day stress field representing the characteristics of the natural fractures and pressure systems in
the trough...The exploration results obtained so far are of key importance in developing the existing kinematic and dynamic models for the formation and deformation of the Pannonian basin..."
Thank you lanman,
One has to love these guys and gals that have a lingo all of their own. I get the impression that the study is fairly academic, ...The exploration results obtained so far are of key importance in developing the existing kinematic and dynamic models for the formation and deformation of the Pannonian basin..." , Now, that does not help us, the JV or XOM to find a sweet spot, which is what we need to get this thing going. So from all the seismic data we gathered, what are the chances to identify sweet spots in it, or is that data gathered too regional to do that. And as for the drill data, what are are the chances of identifying sweet spots from that (hint: this was a loaded question).
Soly, Thank you for holding the fort yesterday
