Thanks for your viewpoint, btb. Perhaps I failed to take into account how many and whose oxen he had gored. People make mistakes, bad choices, etc., but he seemed willing to abide by the new structure. Even the best of us were goaded and riled into saying things we would wish Santa Claus would overlook. The blogspot he has put together appears to be a handy resource, providing a useful service to anyone with an interest (and especially investment) in FO. And it does not allow for discussion, so no insults flying, no abuse, no cheap shots to rile one’s feathers there. No need to throw the baby out with the bathwater, as it were. Heck, we were willing to use JR’s original work and he was/is a much more demonic and disruptive character.
But, hey, on with it. This is a side issue to the enterprise of this board. And perhaps, in our field of dreims, as we re-establish a hospitable and fertile environment, the Lanman will come.
