Yes good start but fizzled out too early....

I did read somewhere that TD was short overall and the question was raised where are they getting the shares from to kill the bid ?If someone could post the net positions of TD we could perhaps drill this further.

It also reminds me that this "phenomenon" used to happen in the early days of FO in 2005. Normally you kill the bid to let other people in ahead of good news. That's the postive spin on it. :-)
