I don't see a retrace of a barrel of oil to $85.00. What are the factors you are seeing that I am not?
Seems to me a portion of the rapid increase in oil is based upon increased demand in the Asian markets with the other being the weakening of the US$ in terms of every major currency.
The US economy has not been strengthening ... the financial and real estate crisis is not over but other "stronger currencies" are not as fundamentally strong as originally believed ... in other words seems to me real assets like oil and gas, silver and gold and other commodities will soon start to appreciate more as people fear continued devaluation of currencies in the world.
