Reports issued by MarketWire today are indicating that BookMerge Technology, Inc.’s subsidiary, Extreme Biodiesel, is “experiencing a significant increase in demand for its biodiesel which is at an all-time high of $4.09/gallon.” According to the reports, the cost of traditional diesel #2 fuel currently weighs in at almost a whole fifty cents more than Extreme Biodiesel’s biodiesel–fueling the calls of those who desire cleaner, more efficient, and less expensive alternatives to today’s fuel options.
The report specified that today, the annual diesel consumption in the United States alone ranks in at 400 billion gallons. These gallons contribute to a variety of important usages, mainly to power trucking, transportation, marine, and personal vehicles. With a target market of one half of one percent of all traditional diesel #2 users in the United States, BookMerge Technology Inc’s Extreme Biodiesel hopes to put roughly 2 billion gallons of biodiesel into the market for public consumption each year. The very act of completing this goal will generate a plethora of green jobs, and both alternative energy enthusiasts and speculators are hopeful that the growing biodiesel industry will continue to provide reliable and environmentally sustainable jobs for decades to come as the movement grows larger.
Extreme Biodiesel’s Chief Executive Officer, Richard Carter, expressed his prediction that the demand for biodiesel will only continue to arise in the future.
“With the ongoing increase in fuel demand, issues in the middle-east, increased government emission reduction requirements and a re-emerging economy for additional goods, we anticipate diesel fuel prices to be in excess of $5.00/gallon very soon,” Carter is quoted as saying. “We also expect these factors to create a demand for biodiesel in excess of current California production capacity by summer.”
