Message: Local Community Support for Company

Excelsior Mining would like to make our investors aware of a recent news article that was published in the Sierra Vista Herald, a local newspaper servicing southeastern Arizona. This article was then followed two days later by an editorial in the Sierra Vista Herald that fully endorsed the Gunnison Copper Project.

“We welcome Excelsior’s Gunnison Project for its environmental sensibility and the economic promise it represents.” --- Excerpt from “Our View - Good news on new mining project” – March 29, 2016

Excelsior considers this endorsement to be a major demonstration of the success of our on-going community outreach program. We look forward to continuing to build relationships with all stakeholders as we advance the Gunnison Project into production.

Additional excepts can be read below. To read the full article and editorial, visit:http://www.gunnisoncopper.com/index.php/media-coverage orhttp://www.svherald.com/

"Best of all, this process allows for a gradual expansion of mining operations, based on the price of copper. Unlike the “boom or bust” economies of open pit mining – which depends on a high enough copper price to pay the cost of operating trucks and construction equipment – the in-situ recovery process is comparatively cheap. Even at today’s low copper price of about $2.30 per pound, the cost of what Excelsior is planning is less than half that amount, providing plenty of margin for investors and financial security for the company." --- Excerpt from "Our View" Editorial - Good news on new mining project” – March 29, 2016

"Excelsior has plans to reopen the processing facility and resume a history of mining that started in the area more than 130 years ago. The area is east of the Little Dragoons, some 65 miles southeast of Tucson in the heart of Arizona’s Copper Porphyry Belt, a stretch identified for its rich concentration of high-quality copper." --- Excerpt from “Scrubbing Copper From Bedrock” article - March 27, 2016

"Except for additional truck traffic on Interstate 10, motorists on the highway are not likely to notice the operation... “When we’re done, the landscape will look just as it does now, undisturbed,” said Excelsior CEO Dr. Stephen Twyerould. “This process consumes virtually no groundwater and we capture all of the solution.”" --- Excerpt from “Scrubbing Copper From Bedrock” article - March 27, 2016
