EXCELLON ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

Ned Goodman has resigned as a director of Excellon Resources Inc., effective immediately. He will resume his role as a special adviser to the board of directors of the company. This week, Mr. Goodman resigned from a number of public company boards due to increased work commitments as the president and chief executive officer and director of Dundee Corp. and as chairman of the board of directors of Dream Unlimited Corp.

Mr. Goodman has served as a director of Excellon since April, 2013, with distinction, and the entire board thanks him for his contributions during this period. Excellon looks forward to Mr. Goodman's continued involvement with the company.
