Welcome to the Evolving Gold Free HUB On AGORACOM

Evolving Gold is focused on exploring its significant discovery at Rattlesnake Hills, Wyoming, an alkalic gold system, similar to the Cripple Creek gold district in Colorado, and on gold properties adjacent to the Carlin district of Nevada.

What to look for in future Carlin drilling:
More gold bearing altered dikes. An increase in dike intercepts indicates proximity to large structural elements like a deep seated faults and/or related disruptions of strata. From the 009 and 007 results EVG will be vectoring grade increase toward that feeder(s). New targets: After the recent gravity survey EVG has identified a host of new targets based upon density reduction of calcareous beds by acid leach decalcification.

Decalcified units both can act as hosts and be guides to gold bearing rock. Decalcified units can have as much as 40% lost and with increased porosity making them excellent hosts. Decalcified units are also subject to collapse from the weight of the overlying rock producing collapse breccia and karst structures both of which have proved excellent hosts on the trend. EVG. has identified some 24 low gravity targets in the Carlin/Humboldt block that are potential decalcified units. These may well prove to be the best targets so far.

EVG wants to find the areas above and along the very old deep seated structures. These structures serve as some of the best conduits and hosts. 45% of the Carlin trend gold mined has been from structural elements verse the large stratabound or bedded disseminated deposits.

Final note. The increased gold content of the altered dike in the large low grade gold halo intercepted in hole Car 009, may be due to its higher iron content. I'd bet it won't but one or two follow up holes to Car 007 and Car 009 before EVG is into high grade again.
