I believe it is the largest trade show in the industry. I skipped it this year but in 2008 there were over 20,000 attendees. It is like the Woodstock of the mining industry only there's no rock and roll, just rocks. And it happens every year. Pretty much everybody who is anybody in the industry goes. Last I heard there is a five year waiting list for booth space. Maybe there has been enough collateral damage to shorten that somewhat though. Walking the floor is grueling, but the hospitality suites at the Royal York are something to be seen. I go there to make up for my losses...one shrimp cocktail at a time. <g>
