plums - it occured to me this morning that it might be worthwhile to keep tabs on Strathmore's work at Gas Hills. I checked the map and it looks like their uranium project at Gas Hills is about twenty miles west of Rattlesnake Hills. I would think that most of the state officials involved in issuing permits for Gas Hills would also be responsible for regulating work at RSH.
From the Strathmore site: "Significant infrastructure exists on and near the acquired properties, including haulage roads and electrical power lines. Primary focus has been on permitting the George Ver deposit, which is expected to be the first in a series of sequentially planned open pit deposits. One year of water quality and baseline environmental data has been collected, in addition to cultural (archeology), floral-faunal, meteorological and air sampling studies. Engineering designs of the planned open pits have also been completed. Strathmore plans to complete NI 43-101 compliant resource calculations in 2009. Milling options are under review."
