I phoned the Globe and Mail newspaper at lunch time.

There are some very approachable people there.

First I spoke to the Advertising dept.

My question was: how much would it cost for a 1/2 page Advertisement in the Globe's Business section. The price Monday to Friday was $42,476.00. Saturday was a little bit more. If you want to be on the 1st page of the business section ..it wil cost 25% more.

The lady I spoke to asked me what I was interested in advertising.

I told her that I want to let people know that they can buy $2.54 cents for 50 cents.

I asked her if she would be interested to take 2 quarters out of her wallet and in return get $2.54 in proven value back.

She asked me to elaborate.

I told her the Ring of Fire-Noront Story. She listened and was very interested.

She was so interested that she told me that I should speak to one of the reporters. Perhaps a story could be written.

I told her I would love to do that.

I was passed onto a person that was in the editorial dept. She told me she wanted to get some information before she provided my contact info. to a reporter.

I once again recited the story to an interested audience.

A reporter is to call me shortly.

I will keep you all updated.

If the reporter for some odd reason is not willing to report on this story, The Toronto Star will be approached next after that The Sun.

Also,an Advertisement in the paper is possible with contributions from interested parties.
