So,
San Juan
Q1 4443 ounces
Q2 4371 ounces (5.64 gpt)
News release claims still on track for 20K plus at San Juan. Let's take 20K. This means that they will need to produce approximately 5600 ounces per quarter to reach this goal, or about a 25% increase in production.
Lamaque
Q1 5815 ounces
Q2 3742 ounces (at 1.62 gpt)
News release claims still on track for 45K plus at Lamaque. Let's take 45K. This means that they will need to produce approximately 17,700 ounces per quarter to reach this goal, or about 400% increase in production.
If 80,000 tonnes milled in Q2 (870tpd) at Lamaque at 1.62 gpt for 3742 ounces…how many tonnes will they need to mill per day for the next 6 months?
Their potential throughput is now at 2000tpd. So…Let's say they hit this everyday for 6 months. That's 360,000 tonnes of rock.
In order to achieve this they need something along the following lines
At full capacity (2000tpd) need grade of 3.06 gpt for 180 days.
at 3/4 capacity (1500tpd) need grade of 4.08 gpt for 180 days.
at 1/2 capacity (1000tpd) need grade of 6.12 gpt for 180 days.
I'm not going to go into all the hybrids or ramp up tpd possibilities…
All this to say it is doable – but they really need to start pulling rocks out of the ground.
