Century Mining Announces Results of Annual and Special Meeting (ccnm)

VAL D'OR, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 28, 2011) - Century Mining Corporation ("Century Mining" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:CMM) announces the results of its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held today.

At the meeting, the Century Mining shareholders:

• Elected all of the incumbents, namely Daniel Major, William Sheridan, William Lamarque, and Ricardo Campoy, to the Board of Directors;
• Appointed BDO Canada LLP, Chartered Accountants, as the auditor of the Company and authorized the Board of Directors to fix the auditor's remuneration; and
• Re-approved the Company's stock option.

Out of a total of 435,655,651 common shares issued and outstanding that were entitled to vote at the meeting, holders of 292,829,155 common shares, or 67.22%, were present in person or by proxy and voted at the meeting.
