This post is directed primarily at the proud Dutchman, Koetjeboe. I don't want to belabor the point about Russian business ethics, but I spent a few minutes to look up the info, as published by Transparency International. Not surprisingly, the top-ranking country is Denmark. Canada is #6, the Netherlands is #7, and the US comes in at #22. Russia, on the other hand is way down the list at #154 spot. Somalia finishes up the pack at #178. So Russia has a long ways to go.
True that the magnitude of the scams are huge on Wall Street (by comparison), but some crooks (like Bernie Madoff) do end up in jail.However, I agree with your observation that the Russian people, by and large, are nice folks. Unfortunately, Maxim Finskiy does not belong to that category (in my opinion).
