I will never deny that there is a long way to go in Russia, China, Brazil, India and many other 'emerging' (or emerged even) countries. In de US, corruption gets you jailed if you're unlucky, but if you're powerful and have the right connections, it will be considered acceptable. To me, lobbying with the Government is equally bad in many industries.

With regard to Canada, I will hopefully get some good impressions of the people here as we have just landed in St Thomas, ON for a three week holiday. Must admit that me and my family are very impressed so far, we enjoy the temperatures and love nature around here - although driving is a bit tedious if you're used to the maximum speeds in Europe!
