Before I had level 2 it was impossible to make an informed buy decision. I don't day trade. But I buy in the market on a regular basis. Knowing what is in the forward bid and ask gives me an idea as to where the market strength is going. You can decide to put in a lower bid knowing the asks are weak and the pressure appears down. The reverse happens when you sell. For those shareholders on a budget or who don't buy and sell enough to warrant the expense of buying level two it is simply a courtesy that those who have it can on occasion accommodate a friend. I always include in the title that I'm posting level 2 and I only do it if I'm asked. In my opinion it is a tool that is important to gain an understanding of how a stock behaves day to day. I ALWAYS check my holdings and always check level two even if I have no intention of buying or selling. I believe information in the market is power.
sorry if I offended...............carry
