Keith R. Hulley, Non Executive Chairman

Mr. Hulley is a 45 year veteran of the mining industry, with a broad and diversified background. He is currently interim CEO of Century Mining , a gold mining company with two mining operations, one in production startup and one in production. He is also non-executive Chairman of the Board of Gabriel Resources Ltd., an exploration and development company focused on Romania and traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Prior to joining Apex Silver, Mr. Hulley was Director of Operations and a member of the Board of Directors of Western Mining Holdings Limited Corporation.
Fran Scola, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Scola was a partner, portfolio manager and consultant for the Shipston Group, which invests in venture capital natural resource projects, private equity, currencies, futures, bonds, equities and various investment funds. Prior to this position, he was a partner and portfolio manager at Weintraub Capital Management and a partner, analyst, and portfolio manager at Touchstone Investments where he was responsible for generating position ideas and research for Touchstone's investment portfolio. Mr. Scola has also worked for Moore Capital Management, a New York-based hedge fund executing trades in the Asian region, mostly in bonds, currencies and futures. Mr. Scola holds both an M.A. in public policy with an emphasis on economic growth models and a M.B.A. focusing on finance from the University of Chicago.
Daniel Major, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Major is a mining engineer with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry. During the first half of his career he worked in several roles, including production, planning and project engineering in various countries in Africa, with a focus on base and precious metals. Highlights included being the Chief Planning Engineer for the development of the first open pit platinum in the region, Potgietersrust Platinums. From Africa he moved to Investment Banking in London as the research analyst for both JPMorgan and HSBC, where he was part of the No.1 rated Global Mining Team. In 2004 he moved back to the production environment, becoming CEO of the Resource Sector of Basic Element in Russia, which included mining and exploration businesses as well as a substantial pulp and paper business. Mr. Major has retained his role as Non-exec Chairman of Strikeforce Mining and Resources, the molybdenum mining company within Basic Element. Mr. Major holds a B.Eng (Hons) Mining from the Camborne School of Mines.

Mr. Robertson is a UK-qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in industry. He started his career with Laporte PLC in the UK at a time when they were involved in the mining of titanium ore, which they processed into titanium dioxide, and also the mining of bentonite, which they sold mainly for drilling muds. He then became Group Financial Controller of Laird PLC, a UK -based acquisitive engineering conglomerate, following which he joined Jardine Matheson Group as Group CFO of their global insurance broking business. He then moved back to Laporte to be Finance Director, based in Germany, of their global pharmaceutical intermediates and polymer catalysts business and helped contribute to its significant growth. Following the sale of that business to Degussa, he was part of a two-man MBI team that bought the global inorganic mineral coatings business from Bayer with VC funding and syndicated debt. Based in Belgium as the CFO, he and the CEO grew the business both organically and by acquisition and eventually structured an exit to another fund. Prior to joining Ecometals in 2008, he has been Group FD of a UK-listed international group engaged in the manufacture of metallic foils for the packaging industry. He holds a London University external Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Economics.
William Lamarque, Chairman of the Audit Committee

Mr. Lamarque is a co-founder of Balor Capital. Mr. Lamarque has had a successful career in trading and banking. After being the General Manager of the China Division of Jardine Matheson & Company Limited, he became an Executive Member of the Board of Directors of N.M. Rothschild & Sons Limited, the principal banking entity of the international Rothschild financial services group. He subsequently became Managing Director of Rothschild Inc., in New York. Mr. Lamarque has specialist experience in the risk management of commodity positions and in commodity research. He currently advises a client list of commodity producers on their major financial transactions and exposures, including their hedge books, and spends several months a year in the Far East, notably China. He has been a member of the Comex and Chairman of the Public Affairs Committee of the London Bullion Market Association. Mr Lamarque holds a BA (Honors) from Cambridge University.
