You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
It will go away when the PP closes or someone steps in and buys it out. Either way, it will go away soon enough. I posted the link for the conf call in the President's DD box, highly recommend everyone listen to it, even a second time as there is lots of good info there.
