VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - 11/08/10) - KALAHARI RESOURCES INC. (TSX-V:KLA - News) (The "Company") is pleased to announce it has commenced an 8000 meter diamond drill program on its Lamaque Gold Project in Val d'Or Quebec. One drill rig is now on the property and additional rigs are now being sourced.
The Company also expects to release the results of the Forestel Zone drill program announced July 29, 2010 within the next ten days including the results of the re-sampling program that is nearing completion. Drilling results will continued to be compiled with a goal of delineating 4-5 million tonnes of high-grade gold mineralization.
The Lamaque property is in the Val d'Or Gold Camp immediately adjacent to both the Sigma and Lamaque mines, which together have produced approximately 9 million ounces of gold. The drilling campaign is a part of 43-101 compliant resource expansion at the property. The current inferred gold resource at Lamaque property is 375,375 gold ounces (1,238,308 tonne at 9.43 g/t gold) according to Watts, Griffis and McOuat 43-101 report of October, 2004. The current gold mineralized vein-system, indicated through drilling, is speared over an area that is 4,000m in strike length, 2900m wide and open at depth.
