Century Mining Corporation ("Century" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CMM) is pleased to announce the following results from its first seven diamond drill holes from the first underground drill station in the Bedard Dyke at the Lamaque Gold Mine in Val D'Or, Quebec.

This first drill station was designed to test the extent of both the Bedard Dyke contacts and the internal structure of the mineralization in areas where no previous drilling has been done. These results, along with the continued drilling campaigns in the Bedard Dyke, will be used to complete a new 3D wireframe model to assist in mine planning and resource estimation.

The Company is planning to complete a mineral resource estimate in 2011 compiled from current and future drilling at the Bedard Dyke zone. No resource estimate is currently published at the Bedard Dyke zone and all potential resources derived from the zone will be in addition to the current mineral resources already published for the Lamaque complex.

Note: Intersections are calculated down the drill holes using a 1 gram per
tonne (g/t) assay cut-off and allowing a maximum of 2 feet of internal
waste. Assays immediately following the internal waste must carry the waste
interval to be included in a particular intersection. 1 g/t was chosen as a
cut-off to show the continuity of the mineralization and to reflect the
width and nature of the mineralized zones. The width of the mineralization
quoted is down hole length of the drill intercept and true widths will vary
depending on the drill angle. A "Top Cut" of 1 ounce per tonne (oz/t) was
applied to all individual assays ("cut") above 1 oz/t or 31.103 g/t to limit
the potential effects of high grade assays on the intersection grades.
Further statistical study is required to confirm that a 1 oz/t "top cut"
is appropriate in the Bedard Dyke sample population.


The results of Century's drilling program have been reviewed, verified and compiled by H. Andrew Daniels, P. Geo, Vice President, Geology, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

To ensure reliable sample results, Century has adopted a rigorous QA/QC program that monitors the chain-of-custody of samples and includes the insertion of blanks, duplicates, and certified reference standards in each batch of samples. Drill holes are logged and a representative pulp sample is retained in a secured facility for verification purposes. Sample preparation (crushing and pulverizing) is performed at the Century Lamaque assay lab and regularly checked at an independent local laboratory. Prepared samples are analyzed at the Lamaque assay lab using a FA30-AAS (Fire Assay on 30 gram sample with an Atomic Absorption finish) and regularly checked at a local independent laboratory, ALS Chemex in Val d'Or, Quebec.
