You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
It is...not sure why but the only I can see is a corp event, maybe a take over or they got tired of Peggy being a drag on SP...At our current price, cannot see anything negative enough to take us much lower.
