I spoke to Ross Burns, Tamerlane Ventures President and CEO, at PDAC. He was helping to man the CMM/Tamerlane booth.

Unfortunatly I missed Peggy by a few minutes. I very much wanted to meet her to get my own take on this woman that has such a reputaton in the mining business.

At this point Ross is a consultant and special advisor to CMM. I believe he is a former member of the CMM BOD.

He told me that he and Ms. Whitt/Kent have been business associates for many years including their days together at Royal Oak Mines in Timmins and Yellowknife.

My impression of Ross was very good. In fact it made me think that Peggy must be made of good stuff if she has had a long time business association with Ross. Perhaps her negative reputation is not deserved.
