Anyone know if there is any aftermath to the illegal strike in Peru that was settled a short time ago? At the time, many were quite startled to see the extent of the liabililities claimed against CMM and I have yet to see an explanation of this situation. Have these claims been settled along with the strike? Or if they are still extant, are they of any substance? Even if a fraction of the amounts claimed have some validity, this could be a drag on the SP, I would think. I assume that institutional investors have access to the inside story on this.
