Yes, infinity is their lithium ion cell tech with cermaic separator while Elevate is the trademark name for their forklift truck battery systems.
And fyi they developed prototypes of the LiFePO4 cathode type cells back in 2002 when i used to frequent the place for a short while and it's a real shame they did not develop batteries back then for the forklift truck industry as i had suggested at the time and actually knew the VP of Raymond Canada at the time.
So Sankar wasted $80M and 15 years and are now struggling still today to survive when if they had focused back in 2002 on this forklift market they could have been the world leader easily ten years ago.
The only reason why maybe they didn't do it was due to safety issues with polymer separators back then. Even tho the LFP is much safer it was not with a ceramic separator.
Still, i think it was a huge missed opportunity back in the day and a great loss to shareholders. Lead acid type batteries are garbage compared to LFP lithium ion even back then. 500 cycles versus 5000 and an energy density of almost tripple with LFP over lead acid, the industry standard back in the day.
