Late comers folly: they wait to hear ideas through the grapevine and often consternate; consternation comes at a high cost, the cost of chasing to get to a full position in this or any name. Accumulation of size in any name takes committment, time and late comer chasers to the party.

With no defensible negativity here,  only "time" and patience are the toughest story elements to withstand, that is of course, unless you are a true believer.
