Here's a thought. After 20-25 yrs of service and 9000 cycles in an ESS or forklift, why couldn't those same batteries then be used in a home storage system. They would be huge, still have 95-98% retention rate and avoid dump or re-cycling for another 10-20 yrs if not more.
