We know that Electrovaya is making progress on it’s Solid-State Battery and Toyota is building it’s new plant in North Carolina, so I was wondering what the potential market might look like for a Toyota/Electrovaya battery licensing agreement. 

For the first six months of 2022, Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) reported U.S. sales of 1,045,697 vehicles.  First half electrified vehicle sales totaled 266,413, representing 25.5 percent of total year-to-date sales.  Doubling that would be roughly 530,000 electric vehicles/batteries per year. Not sure what the mix (all electric vs hybrid) would be, but I found it interesting nonetheless.

First things first though,…….gotta get the licensing agreement!
