I really believe Toyota Material Handling is switching to Electrovaya batteries as well. They posted jobs for battery engineer and senior battery engineer I believe a couple of months ago. Toyota Material Handling Battery Jobs, Employment | Indeed.com "Toyota Material Handling is looking for an experience and motivated person to design and implement new energy systems for material handling equipment". "Study system design of current products and other battery systems to create requirements for alternative energy systems". "Work with hardware, software, harness and mechanical engineers to design develop and test new sysstems and features". "Investigate battery systems and work with experts in the related fields of study to generate requirements for implementation". "Strong understanding of battery system design and key metrics including thermal management, power management, charging profiles and others". "Experience with lithium ion batteries, DC power electronics, and charging systems, and UL regulations for lithium batteries". Remember TMH currently makes their own lithium batteries and based on these job specifications it appears that they are switching to another battery. Should be obvious who they are switching to. Multiple "likes" on Electrovaya's Linkedin posts from Toyota Material Handling's employee's including the manager of energy systems and an employee in charge of harness wiring for the forklifts.
