Thanks, I emailed him also. I see they added one line to their Presentation and changed the date of issue to 1-13-22. They said "October 2021, signed strategic supply agreement with Vicinity Motors". So I brought up the Oct 21st PR. It said "The strategic supply agreement is for the supply of battery systems for Vicinity’s line of Vicinity Lightning™ EV buses and fully electric VMC 1200 Class 3 trucks". Then I went to the Proterra PR to see what it said.
- Proterra and Vicinity Motor Corp. announce multi-year supply agreement to power the Vicinity Lightning™ and strip chassis platform for commercial electric vehicles with Proterra battery technology
- Multi-year agreement expected to support next-generation heavy-duty electric transit bus as well as Class 3 and 5 work trucks
- Includes battery supply for a minimum of 600 Vicinity commercial electric vehicles through 2024
- Production of the Proterra Powered™ Vicinity Lightning vehicle expected to begin in Q3 2022.

So it looks to me that Vicinity has lined up 2 suppliers for their electric vehicle line up. If I was Vicinity I would certainly line up both contenders, buy from both and compare quality, performance and price of both. Since both battery suppliers are small, just starting out it appears to be a smart move....
