Well,  They are now getting ready to produce their own Cathodes.  Thken from the last presentation and will be used in both the EV-44 cell plant and the 3D printed solid state cell.

Electrovaya has posted a job opening for an Extrusion Technologist.  So what will an Extrusion Technologist do for Electrovaya?

Print 3D battery cells on their cathodes.  If they then had a source of Lithium they would pretty much have the entire raw materials supply chain in house.  I think that will be worth a lot of money.  I think this is one of the questions Steven Berkenfeld will try to help answer.  You see, I think Electrovaya is about to go thru a reorganization.  The company will be split off with the LAB being one half and EV-44 Cell production being the other half.  Stromcore has announced they intend to build a plant to manufacture the EV-44 cell.  Electrovaya not only owns the patent but now they will be manufacturing the cathodes.  It only makes sence that they should combine to build this plant. 

Because the 3D printed cell has gerater energy density, better power, fast charge and longer cycle life, It is the perfect candidate.  OH and it is much, much less expensive to manufacture.  This makes it perfect an an automotive battery.  Did you notice Electrovaya is presenting to the automotive industry?  https://electrovaya.com/news-media/      Sequire Clean Tech & EV Conference?
